[Third Gear]: [Locked from Hostiles]

Alright, strange new world that I've found myself in.

Some one care to explain to me how, exactly, I some how missed an entire week? And why am I still in this blasted hospital bed?

You were thrown into what people have called a "Data Freeze". For unknown reasons, there are times when people and digimon alike are 'frozen' in the position they were in. The duration of this varies from person to person, as some have even gone one or two months frozen.

Would that answer your question?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Data Freeze? Mnf. It's... awkward. Especially being stuck in this hospital bed...

That does explain it, though. Kind of.

[identity profile] grand-healer.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
It has been known for people to have been frozen in very awkward positions. These include hugging someone, being in the middle of falling, or running to a door. That last one may not be awkward, but if you don't want yourself, you run into the door as you then unfreeze.

The good thing about Data freezing is that it's overall harmless, unlike if you were actually frozen.

... yikes. I suppose the bed was a lucky break then, daah? Makes me wonder where my silly partner is...

Hn. Harmless, but I think my wound hasn't healed at all... it still hurts when I move.

[identity profile] grand-healer.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. After seeing several other ways people have been frozen, you were lucky to have been frozen in a bed.

Hm. That's something to be noted... Well, I wish you luck.

Thank you...

Hello Rei, glad to see your up! It's pretty much like the lady above said, you were data frozen.

Are you feeling any better yet?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
So I've gathered.

Unfortunately, no. It looks like the data-freeze stopped my healing. My side is still wounded.

*sighs* You haven't by any chance seen Hargurumon have you? She's not in the room. I think she might have been... frozen somewhere else.

[identity profile] guardianofearth.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
Oh... I was hoping it had healed before that. I wanted to show you around the base.

I haven't seen Hargurumon around, unfortunately.

Mostly because she's been busy dunking me in a bathtub, or moping in her room.

Fanbeemon...

Still I'll tell the waspmon and fanbeemon to go keep an eye out for her. Most likely she went for a walk or something while you were data frozen. Have you tried contacting her by Rise Bracer?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:39 am (UTC)(link)
... I won't even try to ask what he means by that. And no, I don't even know how to do that.

I think I might be okay for a tour tomorrow. It still hurts, just not as bad.

[identity profile] guardianofearth.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, I'll be over tomorrow then. ^-^

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:54 am (UTC)(link)
Alright. Sounds good. Thank you, Miria.

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 06:38 am (UTC)(link)
Rather disorienting isn't it?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 02:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Very... can't say I ever want to go through something like that again. It's bad enough losing track of days bunking outdoors in Germany...

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
It could be worse, Not long ago many people were frozen and evicted from their homes. imagine waking up to find yourself and all your things were left in the park.

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Eesh. Not good... *sigh* Should I expect this kind of thing often?

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Prepare for the worst and hope for the best that's what I always say.

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 10:57 pm (UTC)(link)
The best...

The best is too much to hope for, Kats. Right now, I'll just be thankful that I survived that blast...

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Physically or emotionally?

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Both in whichever order you believe is best.

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
*sigh*

Physically... freezing stopped my healing for a short time. I'm probably going to be recovering for a little while longer.

Otherwise... homesick. I miss Mitch and Allen...

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-11 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
That makes sense. I hurt my leg once before freezing.

Tell me about them?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-11 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
Mitch and Allen? Mm... well... they're brothers. I think I mentioned that before. I met them when I was looking for my brother. I got caught at the French border, and because I didn't speak any French at all they had to bring in translators to find out that I wasn't a spy trying to get back in to German territory...

[identity profile] techsavytabby.livejournal.com 2009-09-11 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Ah yes I remember now.

...hmm, I think perhaps you need a visit. Perhaps I could bring you ice cream?

[identity profile] steamgoboom.livejournal.com 2009-09-11 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
Ice cream...? Mm... alright. Thank you.
